The curriculum accommodates practitioners of all levels, enabling them to enhance their own practice and develop their teaching skills.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion and become eligible for registration with Yoga Alliance, allowing them to teach yoga anywhere in the world.

Pyramid Yogshala provides all necessary yoga class materials, including mats, bolsters, bricks, and belts. However, participants are welcome to bring their own personal yoga mat if desired.

Pranayama is a set of Yogic Techniques and practices generally defined as breath control and is on its own considered a science. Here is what you’ll learn on the subject:

Shatkarma is the Sanskrit term for one of the six yogic purification techniques (kriyas) as outlined in the “Hatha Yoga Pradipika.” The purpose of these cleansing techniques is to keep the body strong, clean and healthy. They remove toxins and anything blocking the flow of prana in the body.

Practicing shatkarmas internally purifies the body, and makes pranayama and meditation practice easier by preparing the body to perform these practices without distraction, discomfort or fatigue. These are traditional yogic cleansing techniques which are very effective in preventing many illnesses and opening the body blockages. You’ll learn:

The most ancient Indian traditional yoga style is called “Hatha” (“ha” means sun “Tha” means  moon). Unifying the sun and the moon within (Yin and Yang). The history of yoga, the sutras of Patanjali and the importance of yoga and its origins in India, are the subjects of these classes and lectures.  A question and answer session is performed in every class  so doubts can be addressed, and students can deepen their knowledge about yoga.

Anatomy classes expose how the body, bones, inner systems, and respiration are affected by asanas and the flow of breath. To know The basic structure and function of the organs and systems is very important to practitioners, so that their work as yoga teacher can be safe and  beneficial to future students. Every early March Rishikesh hosts the international Yoga Festival, organized by the world famous Ashram Parmarth Niketan. Rishikesh is therefore the perfect place to learn and study yoga. Surrounded by beautiful green mountains, the holy and mighty Ganges, Himalayan foothills, and tranquility, the spiritual atmosphere of this place can easily be felt. Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), from where you can take a domestic flight to Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun (DED). We will provide transportation for the school at no extra cost on the afternoon previous to the starting date. of the TTC.

From the Delhi airport, you can get a taxi to bring you to Delhi ISBT bus station. From there you can find many government and private transportation to bring you to Rishikesh. Once you arrive at Rishikesh bus station, you can get a tuktuk to Laxmanjhula where we will be waiting to pick you up.

The nearest railway station is Haridwar train station. From there you will find many buses, taxis and other transportation services that will bring you to Rishikesh. If you want Pyramid Yogshala to help you arrange transportation from Haridwar, kindly let us know.
